Word to PDF

Open a Word .docx file, preview it and save as PDF. You can also write a new document below. Files are processed on your device.

Convert a Word file

Choose a .docx file up to 20 MB. Your document stays on your device.

Older .doc files are not supported. Save them as .docx in Word first. Complex layouts, fonts, charts and page breaks may look different; check the preview before sharing.

PDF export opens your browser’s print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF”; on iPhone use Print, expand the preview and Share → Save to Files. No watermark is added.

Using Word to PDF

Choose a DOCX file, inspect its rendered pages, then use Convert / save PDF.

Example: Save a two-page Word letter as PDF

  1. Choose a DOCX file and review the preview, including its table, header and page break.
  2. Select Convert / save PDF, then choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog. Check paper size, margins and the preview before saving.
  3. If spacing differs, use the original font where available or export from the app that created the Word file. You can also switch to Write a document to start from scratch.

What to check before sharing

DOCX only, up to 20 MB. Fonts and complex layouts can vary; older DOC files must first be saved as DOCX.
