Last updated: 25 October 2026. PixnPage is created and run by Vinit Karan. This page explains what stays on your device, what your browser keeps, and the few things that are sent when you choose to send them.
Documents, CV, OCR and AI text: processed in your browser
Images, PDFs, invoices, CVs, imported CV files, OCR scans and the text you give the CV AI assistant are processed in your browser on your device. Their contents are not uploaded to a PixnPage processing server, stored in a database or sent to an AI API. OCR and AI recognition run locally. Clipboard permission is requested only when you press Copy. A built-in sample uses fictional details only.
Working content lives in the page’s memory while you use it. The tools do not save your documents, CV fields or AI text to browser storage, and the CV builder does not auto-save drafts. Refreshing or closing a page discards that working content, so download or copy any result you want to keep. Your browser and operating system manage their own memory, history and caches, so we cannot promise exactly when every trace is removed from your device.
Downloads and draft files
Downloads, including PDF, Word, image, text and editable CV draft (.json) files, are created locally and saved wherever you choose. A CV draft file contains the CV details and photo you entered. These files stay on your device until you delete them; keep them somewhere you trust.
What your browser stores for this site
- Theme: your light/dark choice is saved in local storage.
- Language: if you choose Hindi, that interface preference is saved in local storage. Translations are built into the site; no translation service receives your page or inputs.
- Analytics choice: your consent decision is saved for up to 180 days.
- Installed app and offline page: the installed PWA keeps a small offline page and the PixnPage logo icons in its cache.
- Model and OCR files: the optional CV AI model (about 550 MB) may stay in your browser cache so it loads faster next time. OCR engine files may also be kept in your browser’s ordinary download cache.
None of these hold your documents, CV details or AI text. They remain until you change the setting or clear this site’s data in your browser (or uninstall the app). Unload AI releases the model from memory but does not delete cached files.
Optional CV AI assistance
Enabling the CV writing assistant downloads Qwen2.5 model files from Hugging Face. The Transformers.js engine and WebAssembly runtime are hosted with this website. These providers receive routine connection information, not your CV. AI generation runs locally on your device’s CPU in a browser worker; CV text and job descriptions are not sent to an AI API. Suggestions may be inaccurate; check every fact before you apply one. The ATS readiness score is a local rule-based estimate, not an employer ATS result.
Optional visitor analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits, basic device and browser information, and visit sources. We send the public page path and referring website origin, without URL query strings or fragments. We do not send document contents, uploaded filenames, CV fields, invoice details, feedback or report text, or text you type into tools to Analytics. Google may derive approximate location from connection information; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics cookies may last up to 90 days. Before first consent, or if you initially choose Essential only, the Google Analytics script does not load. Withdrawing consent disables further Analytics measurement and removes this site’s Analytics cookies; a script already loaded may remain in memory until you leave the page. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your decision. Declining analytics does not affect the tools. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled.
Hosting by Netlify
PixnPage is hosted on Netlify. Like any website host, Netlify processes routine request metadata, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details and timestamps, to deliver and secure the site. This happens for every visit and does not include the contents of your documents, because they are never uploaded. Netlify keeps such logs under its own policies; PixnPage does not set a separate retention period for them.
Feedback and AI suggestion reports
The Feedback & suggestions form and the Report AI suggestion dialog in the CV builder are the exceptions: they send what you choose to submit to Vinit Karan through Netlify Forms. Feedback includes the topic, message and any optional name or email. An AI suggestion report includes only the problem category, the description you type and an optional email; your CV, the text you gave the AI, the generated suggestion and files are not attached. Nothing is sent until you press the send or submit button.
Submissions are stored in the PixnPage Netlify account and may be forwarded to Vinit Karan by email notification. Netlify also processes routine request information and filters spam. Submissions are kept for as long as needed to read, respond to and learn from them, and are deleted periodically; no fixed deletion period is promised. Reports are read by a person, but no particular response or outcome is guaranteed. Please do not include confidential documents, private CV details, passwords or other sensitive information. To ask for a submission to be deleted, email karnvineit24748@gmail.com. Feedback and report fields are never sent to analytics.
