Your PDF. With your finishing touches.
Add text, highlights, drawings and a signature image. Switch to Rewrite existing text for visual text corrections with font controls. Annotations retain the original PDF underneath; neither mode is secure redaction.
To replace detected existing words, use PDF text replacement (flattened export). For scans, try OCR.
One unencrypted PDF · up to 20 MB and 20 pages · detects horizontal selectable text on unrotated pages. Scanned pages need OCR first; OCR output is text only.
Choose a text segment from this list. Detection may split a sentence into several parts.
Empty replacement removes this segment. With Fit enabled, long replacements shrink to the original width; switch it off to keep the chosen font size. Images, patterns and overlapping text behind a segment may be covered.

Using PDF Editor
Choose notes and signatures or Rewrite existing text, open the PDF, review each change and download a copy.
Example: Correct a typo and add a signature
- For a typo, choose Rewrite existing text, open the PDF and select the detected text segment.
- Enter the correction and review the detected font. Adjust font, size, colour and fit; upload your own font when you have it. Exporting flattens changed pages.
- For an added signature image, use Add notes & signatures. This is a visual signature, not a cryptographic digital signature. Covering words is not secure redaction.
What to check before sharing
