YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY

A stronger CV, with a little help.

Check your CV against a job description, or use optional on-device AI to draft and polish your words.

ATS readiness check

A transparent, rule-based estimate of content completeness and keyword overlap. It does not connect to an employer's ATS, predict hiring, or measure PDF parsing. Only add skills you really have.

Free AI writing assistant

Optional Qwen2.5 AI runs on your CPU: no special GPU, account or API key needed. First use downloads about 550 MB of engine and model files; allow at least 1–2 GB of free working memory. A recent browser, internet for the initial download and sufficient device memory are required. CPU generation can be slow, especially on phones. Model files come from Hugging Face; your CV text stays on your device. This compact model can make mistakes; verify every suggested statement.

Check before you apply. AI suggestions may be inaccurate or invent details. Verify every fact, and remove any qualification, job, date or skill you do not genuinely have. Nothing changes in your CV unless you choose “Use as summary”.

Something wrong with a suggestion? Only what you type in the report is sent; your CV and the suggestion are not included.

AI uses up to 3,500 characters of the facts or text you enter. The separate readiness checker compares your CV with the job description. Nothing replaces your CV automatically. “Use as summary” changes only the summary; undo is available. No ChatGPT subscription or API key required.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE YOU, YOU

Make it yours.

Empty sections stay out of your CV. Downloads contain only the details you enter.

Choose “With photo” above for six portrait layouts. The silhouette in previews shows where your own photo will go. Upload a photo to replace it; it is never included in exports unless you add one.

LIVE PREVIEWClassic
A4 · FREE EXPORTS

Preview is continuous; print preview shows final page breaks. For a simple one-column CV, choose Classic or Minimal.

Ready for your next step?

PDF: choose “Save as PDF” in your browser print dialog, A4 paper, and turn browser headers/footers off. Use the selected template for PDF. Word export uses a clean single-column layout with your chosen font and accent. Save a draft file to reopen your details and template later; this site does not auto-save your CV.

A quick check before you send
  • Check your contact details and dates.
  • Use clear examples and truthful achievements.
  • Review page breaks and spelling in the final file.

How to make your CV here

  1. Start fresh or import. Type into the form, or select Update an existing CV to bring in a PDF with selectable text, a DOCX file, plain text or a PixnPage draft.
  2. Choose a template. Browse 26 designs, or filter to the 6 photo layouts. Open a larger preview first; your details stay when you switch.
  3. Check and save. Review the live preview, then print or save as PDF, save Word, or download an editable draft to continue later.

Worked example: the fictional CV

Select Try an example. The form fills with a fictional CV for “Alex Morgan”, an Operations Coordinator in Pune, India, and the live preview shows it in the Classic template.

Choose Modern from the gallery: the skills move into a sidebar, while the name and every section stay unchanged. Filter to “With photo” and pick a portrait layout to see where a photo would go, then add your own photo or switch back. Replace Alex’s details with yours before saving.

Formats, limits and privacy

  • Import: PDF with selectable text (up to 10 pages), DOCX, TXT or a PixnPage .json draft; 10 MB and 60,000 characters maximum. Older .doc files are not supported, and imported formatting and images are not kept.
  • Photo: optional JPG, PNG or WebP up to 2 MB, cropped to a centred square.
  • Export: PDF through your browser’s print dialog, Word .docx, plain text, or a .json draft that reopens your details, template and photo.
  • Privacy: your CV is built in your browser and is not uploaded. Nothing is auto-saved, so save a draft file to keep your work.

Frequently asked questions

Will the PDF and Word files look the same?

No. The PDF uses the template you selected. Word uses a clean single-column layout with your chosen font and accent colour (and your photo, if added), so sidebars and decorative template features are not reproduced. Check page breaks in print preview before saving the PDF.

Will this CV pass an applicant tracking system (ATS) or get me a job?

There is no guarantee. Employers use different systems and criteria. The ATS readiness check is a simple rule-based estimate of completeness and keyword overlap with a job description you paste; it does not connect to any employer’s system or predict hiring. A one-column design such as Classic or Minimal is often the simplest choice.

Can I import a scanned or photographed CV?

Not directly, because a scan has no selectable text. Run it through OCR first, then paste the recognised text with Paste CV text and check each section.

Is my CV saved if I close the page?

No. This site does not auto-save your CV. Select Save editable draft to download a .json file, and reopen it later with Update an existing CV.

Do I have to include a photo?

No. The photo is optional. Expectations differ by country and employer, so check what is usual where you are applying. The silhouette in photo templates is a placeholder only and is never included in exports.

Report an AI suggestion

Only what you type below is sent. Your CV, the text you gave the AI, the generated suggestion and any files are not attached. If you submit, your chosen category, description and optional email are sent to Vinit Karan through Netlify Forms and stored in the PixnPage Netlify account, as described in the privacy details. Please describe the problem in your own words and leave out private CV details.

What was the problem? (required)

Between 10 and 3,000 characters. Describe what went wrong without pasting your CV.

Only needed if you would like a reply.

TAKE A CLOSER LOOK

Template preview

Previewing does not select a template or change your CV. PDF uses the selected design; Word uses a clean single-column layout. Colours in PDF depend on your browser print settings.

Using CV Builder

Choose a template, add or import your details, preview the pages and export.

Example: Create a CV for a specific vacancy

  1. Choose a template after viewing its preview; use a simple layout if the employer requests an ATS-friendly CV.
  2. Fill in truthful experience, education and skills. Add a photo only if suitable for the vacancy and country.
  3. Compare the CV with the job description, review dates and contact details, then inspect the PDF export. An ATS check cannot guarantee selection.

What to check before sharing

Imported CV text may need rearranging. ATS scores are guidance, not hiring guarantees.
